PRIVACY STATEMENT
The Cheshire, Connecticut Chamber of Commerce (the "Chamber" or "We") has created this Privacy Statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy.
1. Sales of the Chamber's Membership List
We do not sell our membership list to non-members. The list is available for sale to members; however, only names, mailing addresses, phone numbers,
and contact names are sold. We do not sell email addresses. Members should be aware, however, that their email addresses may be found on our website at
the Member Directory pages if the members has provided their address for display there.
2. Information Gathering and Dissemination Practices
The information gathering and dissemination practices for the Cheshire, Connecticut Chamber of Commerce website (the "Site") are as follows:
IP Address
We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer the Site. We also use your IP address to help identify you and to
gather broad demographic information.
Cookies
The Site uses cookies to keep track of your logon session and to make sure you do not see the same advertisement repeatedly. The Site also uses cookies
to deliver content specific to your interests and to save your password so you do not have to re-enter it each time you visit the Site.
Registration Form
The Site's registration form requires users to provide contact information (for example, their name and email address) and demographic information
(for example, their zip code, age, or income level).
We use customer contact information from the registration form to send the user information about the Chamber and to contact the user when necessary.
Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings as explained in the choice/opt-out section below.
The demographic and profile data collected at the Site are used to tailor the user's experience at our site by showing them content that we think they
might be interested in and by displaying the content according to their preferences. The demographic and profile data is shared with advertisers on an
aggregate basis.
Online Surveys
The Site's online surveys ask users to provide contact information (for example, their name and email address) and demographic information (for example,
their zip code, age, or income level).
We use the contact information from our surveys to send the user information about the Chamber and to contact the user when necessary. Users may opt-out
of receiving future mailings as explained in the choice/opt-out section below.
The demographic and profile data collected from our online surveys are used to tailor the user's experience at our site by showing them content that we
think they might be interested in and by displaying the content according to their preferences. The demographic and profile data is shared with advertisers

Advertisements
We permit Chamber members to display advertisements on the Site. These advertisements may contain cookies. While we use cookies in other parts of our Web
site, cookies contained in Chamber members' advertisements are collected by those members, and the Chamber does not have access to that information.
We do share contact information and demographic information that we collect through the Site's registration form and online surveys with Chamber members.
Links
The Site contains links to other sites; however, the Chamber is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such linked Web sites.
3. Security
The site has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information that is under our control.
4. Children's Guidelines
Children under 13 years of age may be users of the Site.
The Site does not collect online contact information from children without prior parental consent or parental notification, which will include an
opportunity for the parent to prevent use of the information and participation in the activity. Without prior parental consent, online information will
only be used to respond directly to the child's request and will not be used for other purposes without prior parental consent.
The Site does not collect personally identifiable offline contact information from children without prior parental consent.
The Site does not distribute to third parties any personally identifiable information about children with out prior parental consent.
The Site does not give children the ability to publicly post or otherwise distribute personally identifiable contact information without prior parental consent.
The Site does not entice children by the prospect of a special game, prize, or other activity, to divulge more information than is needed to participate in
the activity.
5. Choice/Opt-Out
When the Site requests information about the user, it provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us and our advertisers.

The Cheshire Chamber of Commerce requires that all the visitors to our web site on the World Wide Web (the "Site") adhere to the following Terms and

and it expressly disclaims any and all liability related to such provisions.

The Cheshire Chamber of Commerce prohibits caching unauthorized hypertext links to the Site, and the framing of any Content available through the Site. The
Cheshire Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to disable any unauthorized links or frames and specifically disclaims any responsibility for the Content
available on any other Internet sites linked to the Site ("Linked Sites"). Access to any Linked Site is at the user's own risk. User should be aware that
Linked Sites may contain rules and regulations, privacy provisions, confidentiality provisions, transmission of personal data provisions, and other provisions
that differ from the provisions provided on the Site. The Cheshire Chamber of Commerce is not responsible for such provisions, and it expressly disclaims any
and all liability related to such provisions.
